RPA Assessment and Automation Anywhere Deployment

Identifying the right automation candidates before scaling healthcare back-office delivery

01

A leading national medical group engaged Taller across two phases: an RPA assessment of its aging automation estate, and a nearshore replacement of onshore IT roles across RPA and data engineering.

02

The client had an aging RPA estate (robotic process automation, software "robots" that do repetitive digital tasks the way a person would), and over time it had grown less accurate and less efficient. Some bots were running on old rules that no longer applied. Others ran processes the client no longer understood, because the people who first set them up had left. On top of that, some bots were producing output the client’s other systems no longer expected. The client needed Taller to assess the aging RPA, more difficult than building one from scratch, and decide which bots to repair, which to replace, and which to retire.

03

Taller deployed six Automation Anywhere-certified RPA specialists who assessed the existing automated processes, improved the ones whose underlying logic was still sound, and designed and deployed new bots in direct collaboration with the people who used them. The Automation Anywhere A360 platform provided the runtime; the engagement’s durability came from Taller’s method: mapping workflows with actual users rather than just the systems they touched, building bot-level tests that proved each bot behaved against a defined contract, and applying the engineering practices that separated production-grade automation from brittle screen recordings.

04

A senior director at the client cited the operational efficiency the engagement produced as the reason the team continued to scale into additional roles.
